BAE Doctor of Philosophy: Ms. Li Guo, Gongzhuling (China); Ms. Shuping Yan (Wenxian, China); Mr. Wei Han (Ste. Anne De Bellevue, Canada, Summer 2011).
BAE Master of Science: Ms. Katie Handley (Onaga, Kansas); Mr. Seth Perkins (Wichita, Kansas, Summer 2011).
Dr. Raghupathy (Karthi) Karthikeyan (BAE Ph.D. 2001) has been granted tenure at Texas A&M University and has also been promoted to Associate Professor. Both of these actions will become effective September 1, 2011.
Dr. Karthikeyan also recently received a 2009-2010 Montague Center for Teaching Excellence Scholar Award. The honor is accompanied by a grant to further develop undergraduate teaching excellence.

The K-State Mortar Board Chapter recently recognized 12 faculty and staff members for exemplifying the organization’s pillars of scholarship, leadership and service in their work with students. Dr. Stacy Hutchinson, BAE Associate Professor, is one of the 12 faculty/staff members receiving this honor. Congratulations, Dr. Hutchinson; keep up the good work!
