K-State won first place in the 2009 AEM Trophy Awards, Student Mechanization Branch.

ASABE Scholarship Grants: Lloyd Dan Martin was recognized as being the 2009 recipient of the William J. Adams, Jr. and Marijane E. Adams Scholarship.

2009 Henry Giese Structures and Environment Award was presented to Dr. Joe Harner during the 2009 ASABE Awards Luncheon.

Educational Aids/Blue Ribbon Awards recognize outstanding effort and achievement in developing noteworthy educational materials. Dr. Phil Barnes (along with Dr. Dan Devlin) were recognized for their publication "Sedimentation in Our Reservoirs: Causes and Solutions." Dr. Randy Price (with others from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and University of Kentucky) were recognized for their publication on "GNSS-Base Auto-Guidance in Agriculture." These awards were presented to the recipients at the ASABE Society Update and Recognition Luncheon.

Dr. Naiqian Zhang was recognized as a 2009 Information and Electrical Technology (IET) Paper Reviewer.

Dr. Jim Koelliker received a Presidential Citation for his service as the Treasurer of the ASABE Foundation.

Dr. Stacy Hutchinson completes her term as a member of the ASABE Board of Trustees this year.
