Kansas Hazardous Occupation Training Schedule - 2019

March

11 -- Greeley, Hamilton, Kearney, Stanton Counties, contact Todd Schmidt for more information, tschmidt@ksu.edu or 620-376-4284. 

13 --Flint Hills District, Lyon and Coffey Counties, PrairieLand Partners-John Deere in Emporia. Pre-registration required, contact your county extension office for more information and to register.

16 -- McPherson and Reno Counties, Prairieland Partners-John Deere McPherson, contact McPherson County Extension for registration, 620-241-1523.

30 -- Post Rock District, Carrico Implement 3160 US Hwy 24, Beloit. Pre-registration is required, contact any of the offices in this district, Beloit, Lincoln, Mankato, Osborne or Smith Center, register by March 22nd.

 

April

27 -- Barber, Kingman, Kiowa, Pratt, Stafford Counties, Pratt Community College, 7:30 am - 6:00 pm, pre-register by April 12, call your county extension office to register. Non Refundable Registration Fee, includes lunch on-site. 

27 -- Graham, Sheridan, Norton, Decatur, Ellis, Phillips, Rooks and Trego Counties, 8 am to 5 pm, Hill City High School. To register, contact your county extension office.

 

May

4 -- Ford County, Dodge City Community College, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, registration begins at 8:00 am at the Ag Tech Building. Pre-registration Required by April 26th. Cost is $20.00 and includes lunch and materials.

4 -- Thomas County, 9 am at Thomas County 4-H Building, contact Thomas County Extension to register, 785-460-4582.

24 -- Grant, Stevens, Haskell, Seward and Morton Counties, 9 am to 4 pm at Grant County Civic Center, 1000 W Patterson Avenue in Ulysses. Lunch is provide, registration fee is $10 to cover materials. Contact county extension office to register.

24 -- Sedgwick and Sumner Counties at Mulvane Middle School, 915 N Westview, Mulvane, KS. Contact Sedgwick County (316-660-0100) or Sumner County (620-326-7477) Extension Offices to register.

28 -- Central Kansas District, Welcome Center at K-State Polytechnic Campus in Salina. Pre-registration required. Contact the CKD Office at 785-309-5850 for more information and to register.

28 and 29 -- Geary, Marshall, Pottawatomie, Riley, Shawnee, and Wabaunsee Counties, Pre-registration is required on the Pottawatomie Extension website, or contact Jeanna Haug at 785-457-3319. Training to be held at KanEquip, 18035 E Hwy 24, Wamego, KS.

31 -- Frontier District, Preregistration required by calling extension offices, Lyndon at 785-828-4438, Ottawa at 785-229-3520, Garnett at 785-448-6826, Training located at Pomona Community Center, Pomona. 10 am to 6 pm. $10.00 for class materials. The driving test will be given off site at a local producers far, youth will be transported by the instructors to the farm and back.

 

June

4 -- Finney, Scott, Wichita Counties, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm at Finney County Extension Office, 501 S 9th Street, Garden City.  Pre-register by calling your local Extension Office by May 31st. Students will need to bring a sack lunch and $10.00 to cover the cost of the training.
