Meeting Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDL) is an environmental issue of major concern. Environmental leadership training provided by the Kansas Environmental Leadership Program (KELP) is designed to prepare individuals to address nonpoint and point source pollution controls in their communities. Watershed workshops and seminars are available to help groups understand the issue and how they can protect the environment and water quality.
