BAE Educational Objectives

The Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering (BAE) Program Educational Objectives identify goals and expectations of our students after they have graduated and started in their professional careers. These program objectives were developed by the BAE faculty and our Advisory Council based upon the Missions Statements of the University, the College, and the Department. The BAE Program Educational Objectives are listed as follows:

  1. Graduates are able to design and analyze components and processes in agricultural, biological, or environmental systems.
  2. Graduates are successful practitioners in industry, government, consulting firms, or other diverse careers.
  3. Graduates are pursuing continuing education and professional development.

The BAE Program Educational Objectives were revised and approved April 8, 2005.
